The slots on the top and bottom of the 12.1" mounting box have rough edges from manufacturing. When attaching the drywall brackets using all 4 screws, it may be difficult to slide the bracket forward against the drywall. There are two easy solutions for this. Either use 3 screws instead of 4 (the bracket will slide easily with 3 screws), or use a metal file to lightly file the inside of the screw slots. This problem should only be present in shipments prior to 6/28/07
