Video Off Instructions

These settings will allow you to set your computer to turn off your RelayTouch 12.1? touchscreen after a specific period of inactivity and allow it to turn back on as soon as you touch it. These are generalized instructions since PC's have many different BIOS options. If you are not familiar with BIOS settings you should not attempt these changes.

Computer's BIOS Settings
  • ACPI Function: Enabled
  • ACPI Suspend Type: S1(POS)
  • Video Off Option: Suspend -> Off
  • Video Off Method: V/H Sync+Blank
  • USB Wakeup: Enabled
Windows XP Settings
  • Control Panel: Power Options (or) Performance and Maintenance
  • Turn off Monitor (set to desired setting)
Multi-Monitor

Using multiple RelayTouch monitors on one PC with a video splitter (e.g. the same display on all monitors) will work fine. A powered USB hub will be required for the touch data.
